Inspired by the rich visual traditions of Mughal art and frescoes, this will be a hands-on creative session led by Zareen Tahir of @lahoreheritageclub. This is an introductory, beginner-stage workshop suitable for ages 16+. Participants will learn basic foil embossing techniques: creating raised patterns and textures by pressing and tooling metallic foil.
Drawing on Mughal floral and geometric motifs, Zareen will guide participants through designing and producing their own embossed foil artwork using specialist tools and materials provided. At the end of the session participants will take home a personalised embossed foil piece and a basic understanding of the embossing process.
